Along with the new FX desktops, Gateway also updated a couple other desktop computer lines with some new Intel CPUs and other features. The newly updated lines include the SX SFF desktops and the DX multimedia machines.

The new SX machine is the SX2840-01 and it sells for $559.99. The small desktop uses a Core i3 530 CPU and has Intel GMA X4500HD graphics. Gateway uses 6GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD for storage and a 16x DVD burner. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

The new multimedia DX desktop is the DX4831-03 selling for $849.99. The machine uses a Core i5 650 CPU and NVIDIA GT220 graphics. Storage is to a 1TB HDD and the machine has 8GB of RAM. Other features include a 16X DVD burner and a Blu-ray drive. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit is the OS here as well.
