Verizon offers free replacement battery covers for the DROID

Posted in Verizon by Conner Flynn on January 3rd, 2010

Have you been having problems with a loose battery cover on your Motorola Droid? Maybe you’ve lost the battery cover completely because of it. Well, if you need a battery cover for your Droid, Verizon Wireless is now offering replacement battery covers with overnight shipping, and it’s totally free.

Replacement covers normally cost about $5, so it isn’t surprising that since these are free, Verizon has run out of inventory. No word yet on when they will get another shipment, but it won’t hurt to keep watching Verizon’s site if you need one.
