The JVC RV-NB50, aka the Kaboom, resembles a large pipe bomb with an iPod controlling it. The Kaboom was first released several years ago and made an impact with its high power and durability. Well, now it’s back and sports an integrated iPod dock and USB without sacrificing performance.

It delivers 40 watts of power and features a woofer at each end with bass enhancement circuitry that will rock the party. You also get a CD player, an integrated FM tuner and a front audio input. A shoulder strap makes it a easy to carry. It also comes with a remote control.

The JVC RV-NB50 Kaboom will cost you $299.95 this January.
