enTourage eDGe dualbook eReader available for preorder |
If you are torn between getting a eReader and a netbook with your Christmas money a new product set to ship soon will let you do both. The device is called the enTourage eDGe and it is known as a dualbook because it has two screens.
The screen on the left side is a 9.7-inch 1200 x 835 pixel e-Ink display for reading eBooks. On the other side, you have a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 resolution color screen for surfing the web. The device will accept input from a stylus or an onscreen keyboard.
Connectivity for the machine is via WiFi, but 3G could be a future possibility. The device runs Android and other apps can be added to it. Preorders are set to ship in February and the navy blue version will set you back $490. Other colors will cost you $40 more.
