Alltel launches BlackBerry Curve 8530

Posted in BlackBerry,Curve by Conner Flynn on January 21st, 2010

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 has officially launched on Rogers’ network, so if you’ve been waiting for or find yourself needing a new phone, go for it. The contract is shorter and the price is nicer. This version of the phone will cost you $499, but after a $360 online discount and $100 mail-in rebate, we’re talking only $39.99 with a qualifying plan.

It will give you bragging rights since all of your T-Mobile friends have only 2G on the 8520. Totally worth it. So will you be getting one? Or passing?

I’ll be purchasing the Curve 8530, but not for $39.99. Both Verizon and Sprint have the 8530 listed for free (at least according to BuyCurve8530.com).

Looking forward to getting my first BlackBerry!
