Ainol V8000HDV PMP supports 1280p video

Posted in Portable Meda Players by Conner Flynn on January 31st, 2010

Everybody wants HD, so the Ainol V8000HDV should do well. (Even if the name is unfortunate) After all it features not 1080p, but 1280p playback support. Not that you are likely to notice on the device’s 4.3-inch 800 x 480 screen, but with HDMI output, you can play your videos on any HD LCD display that supports 1280p.

The V8000HDV has 16GB of flash storage and for $142, you get support for TS, AVI, MP4, MPG, MKV, PSP, DAT, VOB, WMV, ASF, RM, RMVB, MOV, M2V, QT, M2A videos, and support for SRT subtitles on AVI and RMVB videos.

Should be popular.
