The Printer Toaster drops it like it’s hot

The Printer Toaster drops it like it's hotThis is a neat toaster design that mimics an inkjet printer. Sure, it doesn’t print on the butter, but what can you do? Still, we love the design. And we aren’t the only ones. Othmar Mühlebach’s design won second prize at the Berner Design Awards.

The design is refreshing and a nice change from the usual, looking modern and retro at the same time. The only flaw we see is that the bottom tray will be full of crumbs in no time. I’m not cleaning that up.

But you have to clean the tray out of regular toasters and the bits get into every crevice; at least it’s on a platter this way!

    Super nice.

It would really be cool if it could print Jeebus!

Does it support large format slices?

Just put a plate where the toast drops. This is far cleaner than a conventional toaster.
