Sony Ericsson intros Elm Candybar Phone |
Environmentalists will like this one. The Sony Ericsson Elm is a candybar phone, and the latest addition to Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart line, which is all about helping the company reduce its CO2 emissions by 20 percent by the year 2015.
So how do they plan to do that? Well, the phone is made from recycled plastic, uses a low-power charger and comes with minimal packaging. We don’t have any info on price yet, but the Elm will be available in the first quarter of 2010.
Some features include: a 5-megapixel camera, Noise-reduction technology, Easy access to social networks, aGPS technology that works with Google Maps and Wisepilot (built-in turn-by-turn navigation).
