At first glance the Chuwi PHG gaming PMP looks pretty cool. It also looks like a redesigned PSP. The Chuwi PHG will play a variety of games, anything from 8-bit NES titles to GameBoy, 16-bit games from the SNES and MegaDrive and even some 64-bit games.

This one is a solid no nonsense device. without any pizazz. If you want some pizazz you can always paint it, dip it in gold or adorn it with some Swarovski crystals. Not that we condone any of that. Just sayin.

I was glad to hear this week that the specifications for 3D Blu-ray had been finalized. I was even more excited to hear that my PS3 would support 3D Blu-ray reaffirming my feeling that the PS3 is the best Blu-ray player around.

Sony and RealD announced today that they were teaming up to bring RealD 3D tech to the home in Sony TVs and other products. If you have seen a 3D film at the theater recently it was probably powered by RealD tech.
