Ford Sync turns your car into a WiFi hotspot |
Ford’s next generation of Sync systems will have yet another useful feature. This time around it’s built-in Wi-Fi, turning your car into a rolling hotspot. You’ll be able to share a 3G connection with a driver-defined list of devices.
Of course you’ll need to use your own 3G card, which will plug into the Sync’s USB port. I’m sure other auto makers will offer Wi-Fi soon as well. Then we really will always be connected.








The huge battery recalls from a few years ago showed that a flaw in the battery could have serious consequences for computer makers and consumers. Several batteries short-circuited and caught fire leading to property damage on more than one occasion.
I really hate when the good prices you hear on commercials or read in ads for mobile phones are after big mail-in rebates are applied. It takes forever to get the rebate money back and many of us end up forgetting to send the rebates in anyway.
Every few weeks it seems like a fresh round of rumors about an Apple tablet sets the tech world on fire. People really want tablet form factor devices to hit the market. That fabled Apple tablet isn’t here yet, but there are some other tablets that are here or are coming really soon.
The App Store is huge business for Apple with a billion apps downloaded so far. Most of the downloaded apps are sure to be free ones, but there are a large number of paid apps being downloaded too.
