Amazon Disc+ on Demand: Buy a DVD, watch it instantlyHere’s something that makes perfect sense and we’re surprised that it has taken so long. With Amazon’s Disc+ on Demand, when you buy a DVD or Blu-ray movie, you will be able to stream it instantly via Amazon On Demand. Pretty awesome huh?

Looks like it applies to a few hundred titles so far and for the moment it’s just for those in the US, but it should have no problem being successful and should grow quickly. You’ll need to look for the Disc+ on Demand logo on movie pages to make sure it’s eligible.

Electrolux vacuum so quiet it packs an iPod dock and speakersElectrolux just launched a commercial vacuum cleaner so quiet that it features an iPod dock and speakers. The “UltraSilencer” is the first such vacuum in existence. The company even went so far as to conduct a lab study to prove that “music assisted vacuuming increases the number of nozzle sweeps, improves the cleaning result and leaves a general feeling of happiness.”

We say it just takes the boring out of vacuuming. Why it’s as if Van Halen or Pink Floyd were cleaning your house right by your side. Awesome concept.

Hyundai Genesis dissected in time lapse video

Hyundai Genesis dissected in time lapse videoNormally if you want to see what it looks like to dissect a car piece by piece, you have to get out the tools and sacrifice your own ride, throwing parts all over the yard. Thanks to Hyundai, you won’t have to do any work at all.

Just watch the video below of a Genesis completely disassembled. I love how the above image looks like parts from a model kit that you might buy in a box. Don’t try this at home. You’ll have parts leftover when you rebuild it.

Interead announces COOL-ER 3G e-readerThe COOL-ER e-reader has good looks and a decent price point, so you gotta love it. On the other hand, it lacks WiFi, which we don’t love. No one wants to use a USB cable or an SD card with this device. Luckily for all of us Interead has some changes in store for next year.

Like WiFi and deals with AT&T as well as NewspaperDirect which will grant access to over 1,300 newspapers and magazines. Now that sounds more like it.

md35-t-sgEvery car I have owned for the last six years or so has had a double DIN stereo in it. The radio has a 3.5-inch LCD on a flip down panel that can play DVDs and other media from flash drives and SD cards. The radio supports DVD/DVD-R/MP3/MP4/VCD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW media. The radio also has a built-in AM/FM/MPX tuner.
