MyTouch 3G clone runs Windows Mobile 6.5

MyTouch 3G clone runs Windows Mobile 6.5We’ve seen plenty of knock-off cell phones, whether they be iPhone ripoffs to Nokia clones Blackberry doppelgangers. Let’s face it, they are fun to spot and in many cases easy to laugh at. Take this T-mobile MyTough 3G (HTC Magic) “inspired” phone, for instance.

The design looks like the MyTouch 3G, but this thing is running Windows Mobile 6.5. Some other features include Wifi, GPS, and bluetooth. And as an added insult, it even comes with a pair of headphones that are clearly Apple earbud rip-offs. If for some reason you are interested in rocking this, it’s a steep $288.

The iPhone Christmas Tree

Posted in iPhone by Conner Flynn on December 10th, 2009

The iPhone Christmas TreeLet’s say you are really into your iPhone. Let’s say you you worship Steve Jobs. In that case it’s totally understandable to toss out all of the conventional Christmas gear in favor of Apple products. You’ve ditched the nativity in favor of a Macworld diaroma complete with baby Stevus. You hang Apple packaging by the chimney with glee, instead of stockings. You’ve even attached Reindeer antlers to dolls of the Jobs man, pulling a sleigh.

All that’s left is to decorate the tree. Take a cue from the folks over at iPhone Savior, who have decided to decorate their Christmas tree with iPhone decorations and Steve Jobs magazine covers. We suppose you are waiting on the Apple tablet to top the the whole thing off.

Clever Google Chrome commercial

Check out this awesome Google Chrome commercial. They are really on to something here the way they have unleashed this one. And of course we always suspected that behind the scenes, rubber bands and hammers and stuff all make the Google machine invincible.

It’s not only creative, but kinda informative as well. Most importantly it’s fun to watch. Google has taken over the rest of the world, so maybe artsy fartsy movies will be next. So let me ask you, does this clever commercial make you want to use Chrome even more, or not?

Penguin United Crossfire: How Wii guns should be madeYou know the deal with Wii guns. You slide your Wii-mote into the accessory, making it too large for comfort and fugly besides. Well, the new Penguin United CrossFire does away with that scenario by integrating a Wii-mote into the gun itself. Frankly that’s how all Wii accessories should be made.

The CrossFire pistol is perfect for playing any games that require firearms. The controller integrates all of the features of a standard Wii-mote, like accelerometers, IR controller, speaker, and rumble. It also gives you easy access to a D-Pad and 1/2 buttons. The gun trigger is the “B” button while there’s an “A” button on the side of the gun. Plus there’s a Nunchuck attachment port in the butt of the gun.

IMDB app for iPhoneYou need movie facts and you need them now. Otherwise you won’t win the argument. There’s an app for that. The Internet Movie Database now has it’s own iPhone app. It’s the same stuff that’s on the site, but in a neatly-designed and easy to use reference for just about every film or show. You’ll also get local showtimes, trailers, and TV listings.

However you can’t rate or review movies, and do the other stuff that you can with an account. But it’s all good because it’s free.

Predator MotorcycleSo you are out for a leisurely drive one fine Sunday and suddenly you hear an ungodly roar, then see this thing zip past. It went by so fast you can’t even be sure there was a rider. But you know a Predator face when you see one. It could mean only one thing. Invasion. And they obviously now have cycles. We are screwed.

It’s actually from New Jersey custom bike shop Pitstop Motors who built this Predator motorcycle on commission. It’s fully functional. The owner even got two tickets on it’s maiden voyage, due to onlookers holding up traffic.

The schools getting a charge station this go around include San Diego State University, The University of Colorado – Boulder, Texas Tech University, The University of Texas at Dallas, Northern Iowa University, The University of New Mexico, The University of Minnesota, Northwestern University, The University of Miami and Louisiana Tech. xercisebike-sbGo to any elementary or middle school today and you will see right away that many kids today are obese. I like my video games as much as the next person, but kids need to run and play too so they can get some exercise. The Fun Xercise Bike for the Wii has debuted to help kids get fit while they play games.

The folding bike has a steering wheel attachment connected to it for inserting the Wii remote for games like Mario Kart. Apparently, the pedals have nothing to do with the game and the user doesn’t have to pedal to get the kart to go on screen.

The Sustail Wind-Up Mouse winds up using the key, which is stored underneath when not in use. You’ll hear a distinct sound when it’s fully “charged”. Looks like a happy meal toy for a techie kid.
