The COOL-ER e-reader has good looks and a decent price point, so you gotta love it. On the other hand, it lacks WiFi, which we don’t love. No one wants to use a USB cable or an SD card with this device. Luckily for all of us Interead has some changes in store for next year.

Like WiFi and deals with AT&T as well as NewspaperDirect which will grant access to over 1,300 newspapers and magazines. Now that sounds more like it.

We should see the COOL-ER 3G in mid-2010 if all goes well. As long as the price stays low, it’s all good here.
