Better Mousetrap delivers 102lbs of force Makers of mouse killing traps are all about the power. For one thing it insures that the mouse dies fast, so it’s more humane. Jake Easton’s “Better Mousetrap“, powered by compressed air and triggered by motion sensors, is much like any typical trap, just “a lot more fun to watch”.

The trap weighs 5.5 lbs in all, thanks to its 0.25-inch thick hand-crafted aluminum case, various solenoids, valves and electronics. The deadliest part if you are a mouse is the 60psi of pressure. At just 40psi, the trap snaps shut with 102lbs of strike force.

Scary. Hope you have your fingers out of the way.
