for the anon user that spoke out on January 6th of this year, dude learn some english. That was the worst composition of english sentences I have ever seen. I guess yes there shouldn’t be any pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for the users that broke the EULA, modding an xbox/xbox 360 is illegal and can allow for some bad things to happen on xbl. Now for those not doing anything illegal like making backups of their games, why should they get hit with the ban hammer? It is in no way illegal to have backup copies of games that you have purchased. Microsoft made it illegal for consumers to mod their xbox not make backups they just went the extra step to make it “illegal” to use your xbox backup. Reasons like this I think Microsoft has for the most part fell into the wrong about the bans… I’m not sure of the end solution for the banning and backup issue but look at all the facts before you spurt out retarded opinions about why someone should be banned or stay banned.

this is a load of Bull Sh!t if you ask me , people that have them flashed and chipped should just get a life cause either they cant afford the games or its because they think they wont get caught but they need to understand that when they put an xbox live card throw the console the infomation gets sent straight away to the head quarters with there ip address which can be found using bt, and other telecoms
i for one do own a xbox 360 but its not chipped i have to admit that i do know people with chipped xbox’s which i have said them dont play online which they dont.
i think some one has already said the following , that microsoft could easily bring police in to this because this is copy right and i would’t wanna get on the wrong side of bill gates cash if you know what i mean and that you will have to buy a updated exbox for the firmware to acthully work which we all know it dont

you can play online if your banned if you have DD-WRT on your router it takes some practice but can be done because it can act like its doing a local network so anyone that has silver memberships can play and anyone thats banned can play together assuming the router there going through has DD-WRT firmware

really good question , my xbox sez that the console is banned , the only way atm is to use the infectus thingy to unban it trough an other cpu key
how will changing the firmware of the drive fix the ban?!
is it going to send (magical) signals wich bypasses the ban?! (i don’t think so >.<)
anyways i hope that it will work (yay)

This new firmware will NOT allow the console to be magically unbanned, this is just a new version for any consoles that have not been banned or for any banned console owners to use on a new console. At least thats what I think they were saying. No way to “Cure” a console.
