PC makers to put SDXC slots on 32nm notebooks?Dell, HP and Lenovo will soon release their new 32nm notebooks running on mobile Core i3, i5 and i7 processors which could be equipped with an SDXC memory card slot. It would give the PCs recognition of cards up to 2TB in capacity and transfer speeds faster than current SSDs, at up to 300MB per second.

The machines won’t be arriving until next year, so if your strategy is to wait, you’ll have a while to wait. Other companies are expected to follow suit very soon.
