Hulu streams 856 million video views in October

hulu-sbLots of TV fans catch up on their shows and watch them exclusively on their computers via Hulu. Hulu is one of the largest video sites online and has shows that are new and those that have been off the air for years for users to enjoy.

ComScore has released its numbers for video streaming sites for October of this year. ComScore reports that Hulu has delivered a record 856 million video views in the US for the month. Overall, 167 million internet users in America watched a video online during the month.

Google sites were the clear leader in online video accounting for 38% of all videos viewed online. Google sites combined showed 10,524,187 videos in October. YouTube was responsible for 99% of all the videos streamed form Google sites. During October, the average online video watcher viewed 167 videos.
