The holidays are here with Thanksgiving just a few weeks away. There will be millions of people across America traveling meaning that the airports will be packed. Google has announced that for the holiday season it will be giving travelers in some of the largest airports in the country free WiFi.
The free WiFi is available now through January 15 2010 in 47 different airports across the country. Some of the major airports include Las Vegas, San Jose, Boston, Baltimore, Burbank, Houston, Indianapolis, Seattle, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, St. Louis, and Charlotte.
The free WiFi will be offered indefinitely in the Burbank and Seattle airports. The free WiFi is an effort by Google to help travelers stay connected during the holiday season. Users will be asked to donate to one of three charities, but can use the service without donating.
