Appstand turns your iPhone into a Digital Picture Frame

Appstand turns your iPhone into a Digital Picture FrameYou want a digital picture frame, like the cool kids. But you want something a little different. Something that works with your iPhone maybe. Like a fancy iPhone holder that you can laughingly call a digital picture frame maybe. Well, here ya go.

This is a picture frame that you slide your iPhone into. It will also recharge your iPhone in the frame. You can set up a slideshow or set a mood with the two apps suggested by the manufacturer: “Art” and the “Ambient Channel”. Just looks like your iPhone is trapped in a fancy gift box to us, but why not.

We’re talking $20, so why not give it a try? It’s cheaper than a dedicated digital photo frame. Great idea. Until you get a call.

    Hey,

Thanks a lot for the post! We appreciate you getting the word out about Appstand. My partner, Kurt, and I have heard our product being described how a lot of our friends would describe us: Unique, maybe a little funky, but at the end of the day, prety cool.

By the way, it’s so super simple to take a call while your iPhone is in Appstand. You can either slide it out (takes about one second), or just answer it in speakerphone. Check out this video to see what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayrsmsu9F6w

Keep the feedback coming, whether it’s good, bad or indifferent. We love it.

    Thanks,
