Titanium ID Mouse looks elegant, costs a fortune

Titanium ID Mouse looks elegant, costs a fortuneThe elegant looking ID Mouse shown here was recently showcased at Dutch Design Week 2009. The Bluetooth-enabled mouse is all about luxury and you know what that means. It means a hefty price tag. How about $1200?

Yeah, I appreciate great design as much as anyone, but there ain’t no way I’m buying a mouse for $1200. I don’t care if it is made of hand-formed grade 1 titanium with a high-quality plastic finish. I also don’t care if it has a 3-button neodymium scroll wheel for smooth scrolling.

This thing is also powered by a couple AAA batteries and is said to work for both left and right hand users.

This mouse reminds me of my Logitech mouse that I bought YEARS ago. Here’s a link to a picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/amorn/163432754/
