New Trek movie loaded on 4GB Star Trek Flash Drive

Posted in USB Flash Drives by Conner Flynn on October 12th, 2009

New Trek movie loaded on 4GB Star Trek Flash DriveStar Trek merchandising is only surpassed by Star Wars merchandising. Well, here’s the latest Merchandising Trek. The new film is being released on individually numbered 4GB Starfleet insignia USB drives. Yes, I too just heard ten million geeks sigh.

The drive is loaded with DRM, but you can run it on 5 registered devices and burn it to DVD, so that’s not too bad. It will cost you $29. Not sure what that amounts to in Starfleet credits, but it seems like an okay deal.

Supper Excellent ! I thought of the ideas of videos and books on flash drives a while back. And I am happy to know Star Trek are making videos now on Flash drives !!!

  2. Danny Says:

If it was a FullHD release Id get one, but I see no need to get a (sub-)DVD quality release when my preordered bluray will cost me about the same. Cool concept though!
