Memorex unveils MyVideo camcorder

Posted in Memorex by Shane McGlaun on October 16th, 2009

memorexmyvideoWith the success of the Flip line of compact and cheap camcorders, there are lots of other manufacturers jumping into the market with very similar products. The latest of these products is the Memorex MyVideo camcorders. Both an HD and a non-HD version are available.

The devices have integrated USB ports and one-touch recording. Editing software is included for uploading of video to sharing websites like Facebook and YouTube. The camcorder can also play video directly to a TV set and can capture still shots as well as video.

The MyVideo HD version has a HDMI output for connecting to big screen TVs. Memorex is scant on details like whether or not the HD version does 720p or 1080p, my money says 720p at its price. The devices are available now at Toys “R” Us for $99.99 for the standard version and $129.99 for the HD version.
