jvcpicso-sgJVC announced a new camcorder today that we have heard about before called the Picsio GC-FM1. The camcorder is aimed directly at the folks who like an easy to use camcorder that can upload directly to YouTube and other video sharing sites online.

The camera can record full 1080p HD video resolution with 4x digital zoom. The cam can also snap 8MP still shots and comes in three colors including black ice, blue steel, and purple passion. The back of the camera is a geometric pattern that looks like the shiny side of those metallic stickers.

The device records to SD/SDHC cards and uses the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format and can store movies as .mov format as well. The camera records at a full 30 fps in 1080p mode and can record at 60 fps in 720p and under. A mini HDMI out connects to your TV and the camera charges via USB. Other features include a 2-inch LCD and image stabilization. The camera is available now for $199.95.
