I was lucky – when I started in business 25 years ago (knew absolutely nothing about computers) I asked a friend who was selling computers for Computerland ‘Get a Macintosh’. Got a ‘Fat Mac’ – 512 k – never looked back. Now on G5 iMac, maybe new Macbook soon – 10 yr old Pismo now showing its age -

Bad analogy. Toyotas are fairly reliable. Windows is better compared with Ford.

I own a Mac and a PC.

My Mac is in use all the time. My PC is covered in dust and has not been used in months.

I wonder why?

Hey Ronin540, ever figure out how those “stupid people” with “too much money” earned their money? Maybe they aren’t so stupid?

I use a Mac because to me, time IS money. I can do the things I need to do on a computer much more efficiently on my Mac (yes I own both Mac and PC).

Oh, and buy the way, I drive a Lexus because it is nice to drive, doesn’t break down, and costs less than most of the luxury cars in it’s class.

Actually Mercedes produces many Toyota Corolla/Camry like models in Germany although only high-end Mercedes are exported to the US. So for some cases you might say 1 mercedes = 1 Toyota Just a joke!

Mercedes is not a Toyota market to begin with…. it’s for people that have money, appreciate luxury and are specific to what they expect and want out of a vehicle….that’s why I have two…..cheers

No, Mercedes will not take the market from Toyota. But Toyota/Honda have taken the market from GM/Ford. I bought a used G4 5 years ago (right before G5s came out). It has never crashed, no viruses, no problems (kind of like a toyota).

I’ve used PC since 1995 and iMac since 2007.
I have to admit, although at first I wasn’t big about my iMac, it’s been growing on me. If I had the choice to do whatever in front of a PC or Mac, it I choose the Mac for sure.
(I own 3 computers… XP, Vista and Leopard)
