Coffin mousetrap makes it easy to dispose of your kill

Posted in Concepts by Conner Flynn on September 3rd, 2009

Coffin mousetrap makes it easy to dispose of your killThis is a brilliant idea for a mousetrap. Normally you’d set the trap out, come back later to find the corpse stuck to the trap and toss it in the trash or in your neighbors yard. This leads to trouble with your neighbor and if you throw it in your trash can, you now have to take out the trash because that’s just gross.

But with this coffin mousetrap by Sarah Dery, the trap sits in the rat’s final resting place, the coffin. No muss, no fuss. So all you need to do is bury the coffin. In the trash. Or throw it in your neighbors yard. Whatever. That twitchy rat bastich got what he deserved.

Firmware 3.00 gets blamed for malfunctioning PS3 controllersHere’s an interesting situation involving the PS3s firmware 3.00. After the PS3 firmware 3.0 went live the problems began. One issue that caught our interest is that some controllers apparently get locked out of the console after the update is installed.

After a lot of back and forth on the official PlayStation3 forum, users think that they have nailed the problem. It looks like the problem controllers were knock-offs. Is Sony intentionally blocking the knock-offs on purpose? Or are they just incompatible with firmware 3.0?
