infocus8602-sbI really want to replace the TV in my living room with a projector so I can get a huge 300-inch image at a price that is affordable. My 50-inch plasma looks good, but when I watch Pinks All Out, I want the cars to be life size.

InFocus has announced a new projector that can throw an image 300-inches onto a wall or screen. The Projector is the SP8602 and it offers 1080p native resolution and a 30,000:1 contrast ratio. Brightness for the projector is 1300 lumens.

According to InFocus, the projector is bright enough to be used in a room with the lights on or with outside light filtering in. The projector flips images automatically when ceiling mounted and has a centered lens with shifting capability. The image can also be warped to adjust the picture on uneven surfaces. Pricing is unknown, but the projector will ship in October.
