Bose SoundDock 10 is HUGE, costs $600Bose has seen fit to park an iPod in front of a monolith. This thing must weigh 20 pounds. The subwoofer is the size of a child’s head. And it costs $600. Yet they still call it an iPod dock. It’s about a foot tall. It’s not really all that portable, which I guess it isn’t supposed to be.

The dock connector can be swapped out to suit different players, or, for an extra $150 you can get a stereo Bluetooth adapter. Bose also threw in a composite video port, so you can see photos and videos on your TV.

This one is aimed at those who have too much money and simply want something nice on their marble mantle. The SoundDock 10 will be available from Sept 21.
