Tangle-free headphones zip together like a ziplock

Posted in Headphones by Conner Flynn on August 24th, 2009

Necessity is the mother of invention. This one was sorely needed. How many times have you had to deal with tangled headphones? I hear ya, too many. Lee Washington was sick of tangled headphone wires, so he did something about it.

He created a way for the two wires to stick to each other when not in use, sort of like how a ziplock bag works. When the headphones are not in use, you can just zip them together. It’s the little things like this that make our lives so much easier.

Lee Washington, you are a genius.

I applaud the guy for trying to fix the problem rather the complain about it alone, but, by adding the attachment on it, it makes one side stiffer then the other making it less likely to tangle, not the connection together. That’s been done before, also the one single long piece could still tangle, and his first mistake is having original apple earphones, those are awful.
