Samsung launching first 400Hz TVs in September?Word on the street is that Samsung will use this year’s IFA trade show to unveil its latest range of 400Hz LCD TVs. It was only at last year’s IFA that Samsung was showing of the world’s first 200Hz LCD televisions. Then Sony came up with theirs.

It’s just a rumor for now. And if true, we don’t know if it will it be a production model or just a prototype, but according to Tweakers.net, this new technology from Samsung will “combine the current 200Hz interpolation technique to insert black frames, a technique that is called BFI/DFI [black frame, dark frame interpolation].”

We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
