Samsung and Sprint introduce the ReclaimSprint and Samsung are friends of the Earth with their latest offering. The two companies have just unveiled the Reclaim, an eco cellphone that’s made from 80 percent recycled materials. It’s a sliding, QWERTY message-friendly phone made from “bio-plastic” materials that are made from corn, is PVC free, and for the most part free of BFR (brominated flame retardants).

It also sports a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, microSD slot, and has Sprint Navigation. Even the packaging is eco-friendly, made from 70 percent recycled materials and printed with soy-based ink. They really aren’t kidding around here.

Comes in “Earth Green” or “Ocean Blue” on August 16th for $50 (after a $30 instant rebate and $50 mail-in rebate) with a two-year contract. $2 will go to the Nature Conservancy’s Adopt an Acre program.
