Netflix to stream new ABC shows

Posted in Netflix by Shane McGlaun on August 3rd, 2009

netflix-logo-sbI tried Netflix once for movie rentals but I was never able to get the films I wanted to see the day they came out so I went back to using my local movie store. When Netflix started its streaming service, I thought it was interesting and I am waiting for it to get more offerings before I think about using it again.

Netflix has announced that it will be streaming new ABC shows including popular programs like Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Legend of the Seeker. Netflix is now offering the first four seasons of Lost in its streaming catalog and the other shows will start streaming in September.

Undercover Laptop Sleeve

Undercover Laptop SleeveThe Undercover Laptop Sleeve is a padded laptop sleeve that helps protect your laptop from damage, while it also protects it from theft. The padded sleeve will prevent your laptop computer from getting banged up and scratched, but what’s awesome is that the outside of the sleeve is made to look like an old used padded envelope.

So people will think you have useless paperwork or something else inside. Thieves will pass it by, never knowing that they missed out on a laptop. You can even write on the envelope to make it more realistic.

Dissolving bikini makes a great revenge gift

Dissolving bikini makes a great revenge giftThe Get Naked Bikini is the perfect gift to give your ex if you want a little payback. It’s a dissolving bikini invented by a German company. It may look like a typical swimsuit, but after she’s been in the water, she’ll come out wearing nothing but her birthday suit. That’ll teach her. Plus you’ll get an eyeful.

It’s obviously aimed at guys who have been dumped and are looking to embarrass the girl in public. And perves who want to see someone naked, who won’t get naked for them of course.

LG cellphone transforms from handset to headphonesLG has announced its Design the Future competition winners, one of which was this Hi-Fi cellphone that also doubles as headphones. Supposedly when it’s folded up, it can fit into a slot in a laptop or your pocket. Unfold it and you have a fancy pair of stereo headphones.

Pretty nice. If this design concept ever finds its way to the real world, it could be a winner. LG could do itself a huge favor by thinking outside of the box and actually offering up some items like this one.

HP USB Graphics Adapter background image across multiple monitorsRunning multiple monitors on a single computer is just plain cool. At least it is for us here at the ‘Brick, and the more the better. So, when we heard about HP’s USB graphics adapters which allow you to connect multiple monitors via USB, we had to try it out. HP says a single computer can run as many as six of them and we wanted to see just how well.
