Mister Cartoon branded Samsung r450 headed to MetroPCSHere’s some clever marketing. Samsung and MetroPCS have teamed up with tattoo artist Mark Machado aka Mister Cartoon to release a limited edition SCH-r450. The handsets will feature tattoo inspired wallpapers, ringtones and animations in a re-colored case with Mister Cartoon designed graphics on the battery cover.

If you want one, you better act quick because only 30,010 will be produced. Why 30,010, right? Because the first 10 will be signed by Mister Cartoon himself and will be auctioned off for charity. You still have 30,000 chances though, right?

Mimo 710-S portable monitorIf you’re in the market for a spare monitor, this is a nice looking one. The Mimo 710-S is the “Mobile Slider” edition of their existing line. It’s a 7-inch, 800×480 USB monitor that opens like a laptop and features 90 degree rotation so you can view it however you like.

Oddly this one costs just $20 more than the existing Mimo 710. So if portability is not an issue, you may as well go for the older model. The 710-S will be released this month for $150. It’s a pretty useful design. Just pop it in your laptop bag when traveling.

Moxi HD DVR gets 6TB drive supportThe Moxi HD now has a media extender box and a new software update, which allows the Moxi to offload video to Lacie’s 6TB drive clusters. That translates to over 1000 hours of HDTV. The Moxi Mate is a small $399 ($199 if purchased in a bundle or by an existing Moxi HD customer) satellite box that plays back recordings from your Moxi HD over your home network.

It’s low on features and has no support for more than one Moxi Mate at a time, but at least you can stream your Moxi library around the house if that’s what you want.

Portable Toilet SpeakersWhen your music sounds like sh*t, you might as well flush it down the toilet right? Let’s face it, speakers shaped like toilets probably have a sound to match the shape, but if you’re buying these, you probably just like toilet shaped things.

Only $14.99 each. Like your music, your cash will get flushed away. I’m guessing this is aimed at the crowd who puts broken toilets on the lawn as planters. Seriously, would any of you buy this?

New Zune HD press shotsWe’ve seen plenty of Microsoft’s Zune HD, but the company just shared some awesome images of the new PMP, which show off black and silver versions of the device, both of which are things of beauty.

Just pictures. Nothing too spectacular, but they give you a good idea of the design and what the UI looks like. If nothing else, they will let you drool and anticipate the device even more than you thought possible.

This model will arrive in Russia first, retailing for about $196, then it will be released in the European Union.

It didn’t even have specs at press time, but we’re guessing it will be EDGE. And it will likely have a bunch of business-minded features with nothing to offer teens or tweens or in betweens.
