Posted in Clocks by Conner Flynn on August 19th, 2009

Takara Tomy Clockman will wake you upClockman is designed to wake you every morning with a bunch of annoying chat and goofy facial expressions. Go ahead and hit the snooze button. It won’t help. He doesn’t shut up. He doesn’t know how. Since Clockman speaks Japanese, we have no idea what the hell he is going on about.

It gets weirder. You’re supposed to choose a Clockman based on your blood type. AB, B, O and A versions. We have no idea why. Maybe it bonds with you and sucks your blood at night. Clockman arrives in Japan this September.

TrendNet has announced what it claims to be the world’s smallest travel router capable of 300Mbps speeds. The device is called the TEW-654TR and it measures in at a scant 2.5 x 3.25 x 0.75 inches. logitechperformancemx-sbI am a big fan of Logitech peripherals and have several of them on my desk right now. I really like the line of Logitech mice that have the special scroll wheel that spins freely for scrolling long pages. This makes flying through websites and Word docs much faster.

Logitech has announced two new mice that not only feature that cool scroll wheel, but also have new Darkfield laser senor technology. The two mice are the Logitech Performance Mouse MX and the Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX. The Anywhere MX is a notebook sized portable mouse and the Performance is a full-size desktop mouse.

iHome iHMP5 HeadphonesiHome proves that over the ear headphones are alive and well with their iHMP5 headphones. iHome even went the extra mile and put an in-line amplifier in them, so if your ears start to hurt, you can take them off and they are instant portable speakers.

The iHMP5 also comes with a louder battery-powered amplifier as well so that when users want to set it up in speaker-mode, the power is reduced in private normal mode. 2 inch drivers bring the sound, and it has an extra volume clip for more control.

The Phantom Bar features real ejection seats for $225,000This bar consists of real Martin-Baker Mk7 ejection seats, taken right out of a F4 Phantom (minus the jet packs). At last you can experience the effects of alcohol while pretending to be a Top Gun pilot. That bar does have drinks right? It looks grossly tiny.

All it takes is $225,000 to own. I say you make the ejection seats fully functional. Then you can have a good drinking game. First ones to pass out get ejected through the ceiling, while the last guy sitting gets to relax and enjoy his victory.

It’s capable of 1080i video playback and has RealVideo format support alongside MPEG-1/2/4, VOB and XviD formats. As far as connectivity, you get component output for HDTV, RCA and optical audio out for digital sound. It can be tucked away just about anywhere.
