Nyko Charge Base IC for Wiimotes

Posted in Wii Accessories by Conner Flynn on August 19th, 2009

Nyko Charge Base ICNyko continues to push the envelope when it comes to Wii accessories. Their latest Charge Station IC takes things to the next level. It holds two Wiimotes using magnets and charges the controllers via induction.

And it doesn’t matter if they are wearing silicon sleeves or have the Wii Motion Plus add-ons. There’s also an extra USB port in back, just in case you want to charge something else. Nothing on price or availability just yet. It will likely fall into the $30-40 range.

What do you mean push the envelope? I bought my induction Charger for the Wii a year ago from TeknoCreations. All these companies coming out with inductive chargers are just coping them. Take a look for yourself http://www.teknocreations.com
