InFocus updates some projectors with wireless connectivity

infocus-logoI like projectors, though some uses of the devices are more fun than others. Business types use projectors for boring things like presentations and demonstrations of products. I prefer to use them for massive screen gaming and watching movies.

Whatever route you prefer, InFocus has announced that some of its projector models are going to be available with wireless USB connectivity. InFocus has joined with Wisair, a leading maker of Wireless USB hardware, to integrate DisplayLink wireless connectivity into their projectors.

The wireless adapter and projectors are pre-paired so all that is needed is for the user to plug the USB adapter into their computer. The wireless range is up to 30 feet and there is enough bandwidth for streaming HD media to the projector.
