External hard drives in NES cartridges |
We all love the old NES cartridges. They bring back memories of hours of fun playing the old console. So we love any excuse to have them back in our lives today. Like with these NES cartridge hard drives.
Etsy seller 8-Bit Memory takes old NES cartridges, stuffs a hard drive inside and just like that Mario is holding your data. It will cost you $120 for 250GB, but he will gladly make any size for you and with any cartridge. For an extra fee of course.
How awesome is that?

I was curious if there was a way to create a small handheld device very similar to your nes cartridge that would be able to also link up to a TV, would contain memory with the ability to store games, and lastly, have 2-4 multiplayer controller ports. Pretty much I’m looking to play with friends on TV without dragging out the old grey nintendo and all the cords that go with it. Portability is the key for me. Thank you very much for reading this message. The only necessity we would have is to bring the tv input/output wires and 2 NES controllers. Please respond via nuuby1@aol.com. Thanks!
