Doxie document scanner teased ahead of launch

doxie-sbI hate teaser campaigns and even if the campaign shows you what the device looks like and gives you some specs, but doesn’t come clean it’s a teaser in my book. A new document scanner called Doxie is being teased by its manufacturer.

The Doxie is set to launch in November and ahead of that launch, the company is giving us a bit of info on the product. The scanner is black with little pink hearts; virtually ensuring guys won’t want one. The device can scan full size documents, photos, receipts, and business cards.

It is designed to run from the USB port of a Mac or Windows computer needing no AC adapter. The Doxie will sell for $129 when it launches and is capable of scanning documents directly to web applications like Flickr for photos. More details will be offered closer to launch.
