BookArc Stand turns your MacBook into a DesktopIf you already use an external monitor with your MacBook, check this out. The BookArc stand turns your MacBook into a Desktop and is designed to hold a MacBook Air to a 17-inch MacBook Pro. It’s a great way to free up some valuable desk space so you can use all of your desktop gadgets.

You’ll be using your laptop vertically while it’s closed. It sure looks elegant. The stand will cost you $50 and you can get one now at an Apple Store. We could all use more desk space.

According to the product page you’ll even get a speed boost since you are using an external monitor.

This is a nice product but I needed something that I could also use to raise my Macbook for ventilation and a better viewing angle. I ended up buying a product called the Laptop Flip from newpcgadgets. It holds my Macbook vertical and also lets me raise it during use. I have been using it for a couple of months. Nice product and it was $30 less.
