Samsung N120 gets TCO Certification

samsungn120-sbIt wasn’t so long ago that Samsung unveiled its new N120 netbook. The little Samsung rig is widely regarded as one of the best netbooks on the market and sports and Intel Atom N270 CPU, Wi-Fi, 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, and more inside the small 10.1-inch chassis.

Samsung has announced that the N120 is now the world’s first TCO Certified netbook. The TCO Certification certifies the netbook to be free from mercury and other materials that harm the environment.

The certification also shows that the netbook is built with an LED screen and other energy saving features as well as using an ergonomic design. The tests for the certification were performed by an independent testing facility called Nemko.
