ProClip debuts line of vehicle specific iPhone holders

Posted in Mobile Phones by Shane McGlaun on July 9th, 2009

proclip-sb1My wife’s SUV has enough room that finding a spot to stash my phone isn’t a big deal. My car is much smaller though and if both cup holders are being used there is nowhere to put a phone while driving that offers access to make and receive calls.

A company called ProClip USA has announced a new line of mobile phone holders that are vehicle specific for the iPhone 3GS and older iPhone models. The ProClip solution has two components. The first is the vehicle specific dash mount that attaches to the car dash.

The second component is a universal holder design for the iPhone. Among the holder options are a padded holder with tilt swivel, a padded swiveling holder with a charging and USB cable, and a holder with swivel and pass-through connectors. The complete system costs around $70 depending on selections.
