Darkside Pac Man stapler

Posted in Office Gadgets by Conner Flynn on July 13th, 2009

Darkside Pac Man staplerCheck out this Pac-Man stapler from the folks at Panik Design, who call it “Stap Man.” Traditionally Pac-Man is yellow, so we can only assume that this is some Pac-Man from a darkside universe. Hey, between the name and the lack of yellow, they’ve avoided any copyright infringement.

It will cost you $26 and it’s hard to imagine that you’ll be able to resist making wakka-wakka sounds as you staple. It also comes in white. Lame. It looks pretty hungry, so staple away.

Miyoshi unveils wireless keyboard with built-in touchpadWell, it’s no Asus Eee keyboard, but this new wireless keyboard from Miyoshi is pretty unique and will give you all the basics, plus it has a lower price tag than some of its competitors. It sports a touchpad on the right hand side, where many of us are used to using the mouse, some media-specific keys, and a slider control on the left.

It also boasts 2.4GHz wireless capabilities so you can use it with your HTPC. Nothing on when this might show up in the U.S., but if you live in Japan you can get one now for about $108.

New LG Chocolate BL40 on video, crazy long designHere’s a very legit looking promo video for the company’s new Chocolate. It looks pretty awesome. Apparently the rumored 21:9 800 x 345 display is real. There’s also a nice Flash-based 3D UI, multitouch, AGPS, WiFi, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and a scratch-proof glass screen.

It’s surprisingly thin too, even with all that. Can the masses handle something of such length? Or is it too long? We shall see.

isamurai-sbI am a big fan of games on my iPhone, but I haven’t been so thrilled about the apps that require you to fling the iPhone around. I don’t want to hurl my iPhone across the room and break it. That said, the iSamurai Bluetooth app looks cool.

The application lets up to two players play via Bluetooth and there are four different strikes and four different blocks that players can use. The iPhones make sounds to let the players know if an attack was successful or if it was blocked.

Posted in Fujifilm by Shane McGlaun on July 13th, 2009

fuji3dcam-sbA lot has changed in the world of photography over the years. I remember when the coolest camera on the market was that Polaroid that took pictures that you had to shake. Digital cameras came along not long after than with all the good that came along with it.

Fujifilm was one of the early digital camera pioneers and the company is set to launch a new camera that may well usher in the next era in digital photography. The camera is called the FinePix Real 3D System and it allows you to shoot 3D images.
