Ben Heck’s latest portable Xbox 360 |
After five versions, Ben Heck’s portable Xbox 360 mods are still awesome. He just keeps getting better and better. This latest version looks like a Mac product when closed, and features a 17-inch Gateway LCD panel. Some improvements on this one include a Jasper motherboard, a flush-mount DVD door and side panels, digital potentiometer / button volume controls, and an ethernet port in addition to WiFi.
He ditched the camera, but there’s still two USB ports. It’s the only white-colored Xbox 360 laptop he’s built since the original. The man continues to be the Leonardo DaVinci of gaming consoles.

This is a blinding brilliant light from heaven. The topaz color scheme is a little weird, but I’ll take it. WHERE TO BUY?
you can’t buy it from a shop, you’d have to buy it from the owner as it’s a one off, as is all these sort of mods.
I want one!!
Wow, that’s definitely badass! Hopefully it’s not too pricey though…
This is great! The only problem is its a piece of sh$t XBOX and not a Playstation…
Did he make 5 because the others RRoD’d?
lol “did he make five because the others RRoD’d”
seriously though, I see his creations, and they are nice and all – but I don’t see what is so difficult about making them. the biggest thing in my mind is being willing to waste a few hundred dollars per screw up!
I know he molds the plastic. and it takes a lot of modeling and such to fit everything. but i guess my question is why is he the only one you ever hear about, unless you go looking? you guys make it sound as though “ben heck” is some god that no one else can match….
i just don’t get it.
wow cool!! i saw another product looks like a Mac laptop, however made by iphone on youtube, that’s sounds amazing, but true! anway… you are the genius like him! haha!
