Zune HD: $249 and $280 in September? |
According to an alleged “software engineer” on the Zune team, the 16GB Zune HD should cost between $249 and $280 this September (a date that lines up with previous rumors.)
There are a lot of interesting rumors in the interview, like the fact that Microsoft is thinking about not only 16/32GB models but a 64GB Zune HD too. We have no idea what the price would be for that one.

Zune, sounds like a Winner if MicroSoft could produce a 128 GB model that will access ITunes and The App Store for a reasonable price of $169.00 if not Good Luck on being another IPod Killer.

The only reason the IPOD out sells any other mp3 player is due to the fact that everyone else has them. When they first came out i’m sure they were great, all the rage. But the large initial amount of people have created a cliche among society. In which everyone gets an IPOD simply because its easier for them to follow the pack, then research and look for an mp3 player. So that now, when someone is in the market for an mp3 player, they first think: IPOD. There are mp3 players out there that can do just as much, just as well. Zune is definitely an IPOD killer in my oppinion, we just need to get everyone out of this cliche.
Zune is by far an iPod killer, and the only people that can’t see that are iPod and Apple fanboys. Like was said previously, the only reason people go after the iPod first is because everyone already has one, and there are accessories available for them. That doesn’t make a good mp3 player, by any means.
