National Geographic introduces Duet travel phone

ngduetphone-sbOne of the problems for people who travel out of the U.S. frequently is that many cell phones won’t work in other countries. These users they often have to buy a new phone or carry two devices to stay in contact.

National Geographic and Cellular Abroad have announced a new mobile phone called the Duet travel phone that has a spot for two SIM cards and ships unlocked. The phone can be used with the National Geographic Travel SIM card that allows calls to be made in 185 countries.

The second SIM slot can hold a card for another network allowing for use in more than one location. The Duet can be used with any SIM card for users who already have an international capable card and it is available to purchase now on Amazon.com for $179.
