Kodak announces battery powered digital photo frame

kodaklogo-sbI am a big fan of digital photo frames and we have several of them around our house. I have seen several portable frames over the years with small screens and batteries that allow people to carry photos with them on the go to show off.

Kodak has announced a new portable battery powered digital photo frame called the S730. The frame isn’t really intended to go on the road with you, but to allow you to unplug the device and pass it around at family functions.

The battery is good for an hour of wireless use and 1GB of internal memory allows for up to 8,000 images to be stored on the frame. The controls for the frame are built into the frame bezel and are touch sensitive. Other features include a collage mode and the ability to play video. The frame will sell for $139 and Kodak doesn’t specify the screen size of the frame. Availability is set for September.
