ge-e1250tw-sbWe can thank the iPhone for the fact that everything seems to be going touchscreen today. The iPhone was one of the first successful touch capable devices to hit the market. Now after a few years of the iPhone being on the market we have touch capability in everything from digital frames to digital cameras.

GE has announced a new digital camera called the E1250TW that will be available on HSN and at Amazon starting on June 22. The camera has a 3-inch touch capable LCD and a 12.2-megapixel sensor. Other features include a 5x optical zoom lens and the ability to capture panoramic images.

The cam also has a variety of automatic shooting modes including auto scene detection, face detection, smile detection, and blink detection. The lens is 28mm wide angle and the camera features red-eye removal technology inside. GE is selling the camera for $199.
