Gateway unveils NV50 laptop |
As back to school gets closer, we will see more and more new notebooks and netbooks launched by computer makers. The back to school shopping season is one of the best times of the year for many computer makers so they load up with new product offerings.
Gateway has announced a new NV series of notebooks that are offered with Intel or AMD hardware on the inside starting at a budget price of $499.99. The machines all share many of the same features including a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit LCD screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768. The machines also have dual speakers and HDMI outputs.
Other common features include 802.11n connectivity and Bluetooth. The machines also offer one-touch backup solutions. The Gateway NV5214u sells for $499.99 and has an AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 320GB HDD, ATI HD 3200 graphics, and more. The NV5807u retails for $599.99 and has an Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 CPU, 4GB of RAM, Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, and a 320GB HDD.
