Disney and ASUS announce Netpal netbook for kidsDisney gadgets always tend to be more about branding than giving you a decent gadget, but we know that some of you will still want to check out the love child of ASUS and Disney. A Disney branded Netpal netbook for kids, available in “Princess Pink” or “Magic Blue” colors. (the latter even has tiny Mickey Mouse icons).

Each netbook features a kid-friendly Disney interface and built-in parental controls, as well as some customizable themes based on Mickey Mouse, Toy Story, Wall-E, and other Disney stuff they need to pimp out.

The netbook itself is just a standard 8.9-inch Eee PC, available with either a 16GB SSD drive or a standard 160GB hard drive. No release date yet, but it will cost you $350.
