Sony Ericsson Yari and Aino

Sony Ericsson Yari and AinoSure, the big news from Sony Ericsson today was regarding the Satio, but they have more tricks up their sleeve. The Yari and Aino might sound like some Japanese dynamic duo, but in fact they are the companies latest phones in the higher end of the range.

The Yari slider on the left is touted as a gaming device, with gesture-control similar to the Wii. It sports a 2.4-inch display, GPS, and support for PlayNow services. It should be available in the fourth quarter for about $558 unlocked.

The Aino is more like the Satio with a largish 3-inch touchscreen. They also threw in a numeric slider. It features an 8.1 megapixel cam, Sony Remote Play support, GPS, HSPA, and a scratch-resistant mineral glass display. It will hit at about the same time, in black and white. No pricing yet.
