gtaiv-sbOne of the biggest games available on any gaming system is Grand Theft Auto. The franchise has proven to be one of the top game franchises going. The game has raised more than a bit of ire in the industry as groups claim it is too violent and promotes violence in the real world. Despite some opinions, the game is still one of the most successful around.

Rockstar has announced new DLC for GTA IV that is Xbox 360 exclusive. The new content is called Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony. This is the second episode in the Episodes from Liberty City expansion and will launch this fall.

The new episode will also be offered on a disc along with the first episode, The Lost and the Damned for $39.99 this fall and the game content will not require the original game to play. The Ballad of Gay Tony will cost $19.99 or 1600Ms points and puts players in the shoes of Luis Lopez, assistant to nightclub impresario Tony Prince otherwise known as Gay Tony.

As a PS3 owner, I once again feel jipped. Stupid Microsoft and their deep pockets.

  2. Anonymous Says:

Here they go again charging more for a game that should have had all this included in the original game. They half assed it and now are charging us for the rest of it. No thanks it isn’t that great of a game.

Stupid Microsoft??? If anything they’re stupid for not pushing for it to be on pc as well. It’s funny that the gaming industry owes a lot to pc’s but they are so neglected now. I’m not buying a console to play a single game so I’m out of luck I guess.

to “anonymous” Name another game on any console with 20 hours+ of a storyline, great graphics, replayability, online modes, and expansive of an area than GTA IV without counting the DLC’s. TLAD added a great amount of bikes, new weapons, better bike handling, new characters, new music, new online modes, and about 8 hours of a storyline for a whopping $15. Now I expect the same out of this one, and I will buy it being an Xbox 360 owner. GTA is the best game of it’s genre in all aspects. To add on to my first point, if you only do the storyline of GTAIV you only see 15% of the map’s detail, I have played over 60 hours and I still have not seen everything. The only things that i’d like to be changed is the ability to buy safehouses, garages, more buildings that you can enter, and that the car’s would be realistic and need to get gas changes and shit
